Presentation Overview

Assistant Chief Constable Iain Livingstone, Lothian and Borders Police and Chair ACPOS Family Protection Portfolio will give an extended presentation considering the different aspects of his work in this area.  This will include:

 

  • A strategic overview linking into UKCCIS and the Scottish Action Plan and illustrating the national co-ordinating role that SCDEA (Scottish Crime and Drugs Enforcement Agency) plays in terms of e-safety and enforcement across Scotland (and beyond) as well as close links with CEOPS
  • Future strategy and action in regard to partnerships across industry, commerce and the public which will support UKCCIS and the Scottish Action Plan
  • Prevention and intervention initiatives and some discussion regarding the progress of Operation Alba to date (we will have to be circumspect in this regard as this investigation is still on-going)
